Proposal for extended project

My chosen study area for University is psychology and criminology and for my extended project i  have decided that i would like to study criminal behaviour. The question for my essay will be ''Do psychopaths commit crimes because its in their genes or is it the environment they are brought up in?''

    This should make an interesting study but you might want to consider going into more depth for your proposal.
    For example, will you be focussing on any particular criminals for your project? It might be worth selecting criminals from the past and comparing them against criminals of today to see if there are any noticeable differences.

    Also, how will you be collecting your data as you will need to ensure that it is reputable?

    You might want to also consider the media in your argument as this may have had an influence on the reasons why people commit these crimes.

    Take these points into consideration and post a revised proposal.
